Branding Case Study
With the expansion to four holiday parks throughout Victoria, BIG4 Park Lane Holiday Parks required consistent branding across different locations.
In addition to this, the client was wanting something fresh, bright and fun – with a professional edge – to compliment their existing branding.
A colour scheme based on the elements in their existing logo was created as a base for differentiation, with each park allocated a colour.
Graphic elements were then added in the form of geometric shapes and have been used throughout all designs – giving the designs a consistent, modern and bold presence. The use of bubbly font has encapsulated a friendly and welcoming feel.
Rewards & Caravan Cards
To reward loyal customers, BIG4 Park Lane Holiday Parks have created a Reward Card system where park users can receive discounts and also win prizes. These cards were refreshed with the new colour concepts and design elements.
In partnership with Affordable Caravans in Warragul, BIG4 Park Lane Holiday Parks also required additional business cards to offer a free night of accomodation in any park with the purchase of a caravan. The design for these cards was kept consistent with the Rewards Card design.
The brochures not only portray information to the target audience – they also include a set of instructions to transform them into paper planes! Colour codes have also been applied for each location, allowing clear distinction when all four brochures are presented next to each other. The overall design is bright fun, friendly – ensuring they stand out from competitors.
To brighten up directional signage within the parks, and portray the fun, friendly and modern vibe, signage has been designed in accordance with the chosen colour schemes and graphical elements. The use of symbols as a visual aid has been added, keeping designs consistent across all platforms. Bright colours and bold font choices ensure the signs can be easily read from a distance, or while in a vehicle.
