A healthy new outlook for Latrobe Regional Hospital

The stats are incredible: 120,000 patients treated every year, 261 beds, 1200 effective full-time staff.

Latrobe Regional Hospital, as the major hospital servicing the Gippsland region and its 250,000-strong population, certainly needs a strong online presence to service both the broader community as well as those who have direct contact with the hospital.

LRH engaged Scribblevision to develop a new website. The list of requirements was extensive, and included information for patients, visitors, staff, donors and volunteers.

It had to showcase LRH’s suite of medical and speciality services, including emergency care, elective surgery, maternity, aged care, rehabilitation, pharmacy, the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre and mental health services both at the hospital and sites across the Gippsland region.

In short, an absolute mountain of content – and it needed to be easy to navigate as well as look good. Gulp!

Blood, sweat and tears (well, certainly two of those three) and 10,000 litres of coffee later, Scribblevision and LRH proudly unveiled the new website.

LRH now has a web presence to take it into the future: the website is clean, user-friendly and easy on the eye, with all information available within a few clicks of your mouse.

We’ve donned the white doctor’s coat and are proclaiming that the patient has made great progress – the  LRH website has a clean bill of health!

Visit the website to see for yourself.
