In Kylea’s own words, ‘our whole world fell apart’ when David died. With family, friends and the Churchill community behind her, Kylea tried to come to terms with what had happened.

After a year of sleepless nights Kylea knew what needed to be done.

Kylea formed the Crocka Foundation, a charitable organisation that aims to increase awareness of sudden cardiac death and raise funds for The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, an organisation focussed on research into and prevention of childhood diseases.

“If we can raise as much … awareness of sudden cardiac death and prevent this heartache happening to other families like ours and possibly save some lives then that would be fantastic,” Kylea says.

Three years on and the Crocka Foundation has upped the ante in its quest – by taking its awareness and fundraising campaign online.

With fresh new branding and a dedicated website that enables organisers to manage events, take donations and keep its supporters informed, the Crocka Foundation can realise its vision of taking the campaign national.

Scribblevision, charged with creating a professional yet welcoming online presence for the foundation, is stoked to have been involved in such a heart-felt project.
